Welcome to my portrait page. I love photographing people and I've been fortunate to meet meet some really famous folk and people who are not well know, but I bellieve everyone has a great story to tell. I love them all.

Mother Teresa

I spent about an hour with Mother Teresa about two years before she passed away. She sent me on to visit her homes and I spent the rest of day holding the hands of folk who were dying, children who were neglected and the hungry from the street. She changed my attitude to life and people. While teaching me a lot about life and having a faith she also reminded me about one of the fundamentals of photography...be ready!

Embarrassingly, I'd been so caught up in the moment and who I was about to meet that I forgot that I'd stepped out of a five star Hotel with air conditioning and my lenses totally fogged up when I went to take her picture and it took ages for them to adapt to the Calcutta humidity. She was very gracious.

Thomas Smith - Australian Body Boarder

Thomas was the Australian Junior Champion for several years and is currently on the pro circuit as an adult currently ranked at number 7 in the world. This is one of a series for his web site and various PR shots.

The Sisters - Rebecca and Sarah

We spent half a day in the studio just having fun - the end result was a walled sized 'art poster' for the rumpus room. This is probably one of the more sedate shots, they'd kill me if I showed you the others.

Anika

Gee what do I say... a really great lady, an absolute delight to photograph.

Missy Higgins

This was really funny I was booked to take her photograph at a live performance just after her first CD came out. It wasn't easy, she was still finding her way and very much like 'the girl next door'. It was kind of like "get out of my face! ... and ..... I will just give me the shot I need." I did take a series of shots that would make a great Andy Warhol type pic.. mmm maybe one day...

Donovan Frankentriter

It's great when you love someone's music and then get to take their pic. There were lots of great shots from this project, this is not my personal favourite but it captures Donovan. (My favourite was the banjo case on stage with all the airline stickers still stuck to it and the sticks on incense burning in the background.)

Susan

Ahh love of my life. Who says you can't look absolutely gorgeous at fifty?

New life

What a miracle life is. I have taken literally hundreds and hundreds of children’s photographs from all over the world. Over and over again I am amazed at the human spirit within each child, so individual, so unique so incredibly amazing.

Stevie Wright

A shot from the early 80's. I spent a few days with Stevie after he had come out of rehab and was in the process of putting his life together. At the time I thought he had never sounded better and he was full of energy.

Angie

Angie has the most amazing eyes and the result is one of those shoots where you look back on the pictures and think... "Did I take those pictures?"

Killing Heidi

Yes it is fun being a photographer, and I pinch myself sometimes.
Great concert great lady love the sparkle in the mike...

Rhiannon

An angel. Ri, she's great. Ok ok I got carried away. Rhiannon is the daughter of one of my best friends on the planet. I also love the Fleetwood Mac song so hence this pic. Pure self indulgence I know.
